  • Estimate (partial) effects of mass media campaigns by meta-analysis
  • Develop a general and theoretically based model for road safety campaigns by ascertaining campaign characteristics (key elements) that contribute to behaviour change and/or reduction in the number of accidents by meta-regression
  • Elaborate a road user model

  • Design and implementation of a European road safety campaign aiming to encourage the effectiveness of a road safety measure. The campaign will run in Belgium, Greece, Denmark and Portugal.
  • The design and implementation of the campaign will be performed using the manual developed in WP3, so that WP5 can thus be regarded as a test of the tool developed in WP3.

  • WP6 is solely devoted to disseminate the knowledge and technology produced within the CAST project among several target groups (field workers and policy makers)
  • In summary WP6 comprises the following activities: organising CAST-workshops, presentation of CAST on conferences, submitting papers to specialized journals, producing and distributing newsletters and producing and distributing CAST-posters and leaflets.
